With notes of sweet honeysuckle, and a tangerine/Riesling acidity, it is the incredible “B” fraction that we offer you in this new single origin. In 2011, MALACARA “B” won the Presidential Award at the Cup of Excellence® event, obtaining 90.83 points.
Since the beginning of the 20th century, the MALACARA brand has been recognized as one of the best coffees produced in El Salvador. Five families have permanent residence on the farm, which guarantees employment for twenty year round positions, and approximately 100 more during harvest season. Coffee harvesters are paid wages 50% above the El Salvador minimum wage. Many native tree species still exist on the farm, which help to ensure the natural flora and fauna of the area remains intact.
